Simple
theory of the ego-death and rebirth experience
Simple
theory of the ego-death and rebirth experience. My theory is the entheogen determinism theory of religion, which
I am the first to clearly discover, systematize, and publish.
Simple
theory of the ego-death and rebirth experience. The essence, paradigm, origin, and fountainhead of religion is
the use of visionary plants to routinely trigger the intense mystic altered
state, producing loose cognitive association binding, which then produces an
experience of frozen block-universe determinism with a single, pre-existing,
ever-existing future. The return of the
ordinary state of consciousness is allegorized as a transcendence of Necessity
or cosmic determinism. Myth describes
this mystic-state experience.
Initiation is classically a series of some 8 visionary-plant sessions,
interspersed with study of perennial philosophy. Most religion is a distortion, corruption, literalization, and
cooptation of this standard initiation system.

The entheogenic Christ-myth and block- universe ego-death
The only
simple and comprehensible theory of the ego-death and rebirth experience. The only essence, paradigm, origin, core,
fountainhead, and ultimate goal of religion is the use of visionary plants to
routinely trigger the intense mystic altered state, producing loose cognitive
association binding, which then produces an experience of frozen block-universe
determinism with a single, pre-existing, ever-existing future. The return of the ordinary state of
consciousness is allegorized as a transcendence of Necessity or cosmic
determinism. Myth describes this
mystic-state experience. Initiation is
classically a series of some 8 visionary-plant sessions, interspersed with
study of perennial philosophy. Most
religion is a distortion, corruption, literalization, cooptation, and
missing-the-point overcomplication of this simple, standard initiation system.
Theory of
ego death and rebirth in mystery religions
I am a
sensitive artist. Nobody understands
me, because I am so deep. In my work, I
make allusions to books that nobody else has read, music that nobody else has
heard, and art that nobody else has seen. I can't help it, because I am so much
more intelligent and well-rounded than everyone who surrounds me.
I stopped
watching TV when I was six years old because it was so boring and stupid, and
started reading books and going to recitals and art galleries. But I don't go to recitals anymore, because
my hearing is too sensitive. And I
don't go to art galleries anymore, because there are people there, and I can't
deal with people, because they don't understand me. I stay home reading books that challenge my intellect, and
working on my work, which no one understands.
My bio
info was a joke, and was written by John Hall of King Missile.

The naive
freewill assumption develops throughout childhood, up to the series of
initiations, then the boy grows a beard.
One sufi idea that seems related: "I gazed upon the slave boy and
beheld God." A metaphor for
uninitiated/initiated is bearded/beardless.
Girl/woman, boy/man, child/adult is equalent metaphorically; similar is
animal/man, or woman-born/God-born, or mortal/immortal
(perishable/imperishable), unstable/stable.
